ASHP-SSHP members,This past semester the executive board of ASHP-SSHP at Long Island University was able to organize an event called Medicines in My Home. This project took pharmacy students to a local school named Saint Agatha School in Brooklyn, NY and spoke to students about dosage forms, hazards of certain medication and proper usages of medications. This program was created by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in order to bring about awareness and provide a foundation for our aspiring youth. Here are some pictures from this amazing event.
